Tanecia Stanczak and Drew Desautel led the way for the Raiders at Desert Canyon Golf Club in last Wednesday’s match against Waterville, Columbia Basin Secondary, Moses Lake Christian, and Omak.

Stanczak, for the second week, outclassed her opponets to breeze to a 51-stroke score on nine holes.

Head Coach Steve Files thought Stanczak’s performance was “stellar” on the greens, which helped to distance her from the rest of the competition.

Desautel lead the Raider boys with a score of 55 on the nine-hole challenge.

Files was impressed with the boys’ performances; he said some are really progressing.

The Raiders are taking spring break off and will return to action on April 10 at Bridgeport against Oroville, Waterville, and the host Bridgeport in a league competition that should answer questions on how well LR matches up against the rest of the league.
