Lake Roosevelt baseball was washed out with last week’s rain, but was back in action on Monday for the first makeup game of the series against Brewster.

The Raiders will travel to Brewster on Tuesday for a double header that was cancelled on Saturday. The game on Monday at Greene Field was the first loss for the Raiders in the 2012 season.

Brewster used aggressive base running to disrupt Raider pitching rhythm, the Bears were also helped by the errors LR committed on defense. Offensively the Raiders were quieted by solid pitching and tough disciplined defense of the Bears.

The Raiders look to redeem themselves yesterday at Brewster with the games starting at 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
