Challenge to tribes: build a school

Letters to the Editor

The Colville Confederated Tribes just received $193 million from the federal government. I would like to CHALLENGE the CCT to re-invest some of that money into their future, by building a NEW state-of-the-art high school. This would help ALL future generations to help themselves, by furnishing a first-rate education to all.

I was told Grand Coulee voted down a levy to build a new school--because natives would be going to it(90s)---and you want to challenge the Tribe

schould challenge them to total dispersement to the people, instead of embezzeling it in their so called departments, they already have a very nice school, the people are very poor and the council and police force are very over paid
