After a blowout victory Tuesday against Manson, the Lady Raiders faced a challenge in the Oroville Hornets Friday at home in front of a large crowd.
Lake Roosevelt had to respond to the Hornets’ tenacity and overcome their comeback attempts.
Neither team gained the upper hand in the first quarter until the end when the momentum swung to the Lady Raiders who held onto it through the second quarter for a 35-22 cushion going into halftime.

LR’s girls stayed cool, played stiff defense and made their shots to hold on for the 56-50 win.
