Town passes pot garden moratorium

Coulee Dam’s town council passed its version of an ordinance calling for a six-month moratorium on the establishment of medical marijuana collective gardens at its meeting last Wednesday night.
The council has set a public hearing for 6 p.m., Jan. 25, its next meeting date, to take testimony to consider adopting further findings.
Electric City and Grand Coulee have adopted similar ordinances.
The ordinance prohibits the issuing of a business license to any person for such a collective garden and will automatically expire six months from the date of passage unless extended or terminated by the town council.
The ordinance authorizes Mayor Quincy Snow to develop draft regulations regarding collective marijuana gardens and these regulations will be referred to the town’s planning commission for inclusion in the town’s zoning code.

All medical marijuana card holders beware. On 21 September 2011 the ATF sent out a letter to all federal firearms licensees. It basically states all marijuana users (no exception for medicinal purposes)are prohibited from shipping,transporting,receiving or possessing firearms or ammunition. Basically, if you are a card holder, the government is saying you have no second amendment rights. That could mean if you are involved in this garden bussiness and there is a minor infraction and you happen to have guns, your going to do hard time. Don't beleive me please google and research yourself
