An osprey’s nest on the tip of a high-voltage tower will be gone by this time next year, along with that tower in the park below the Visitor Center at Grand Coulee Dam, a casualty of planned rerouting of powerlines from Grand Coulee Dam. That rerouting is being done ahead of the refurbishment of the dam’s Third Powerhouse, a $600 million-plus project.
